My stay at the hotel was just what I needed - friendly staff, great location, and fantastic dining options. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped but not overwhelmingly themed. The service was exceptional and the location was convenient for exploring the nearby area. The dining experience was enjoyable with a good selection of dishes.

The room I stayed in was light and airy, very comfortable, with a fantastic walk-in shower, and a comfy bed. It was lovely, well-equipped, and decorated with a seaside theme that was not over the top.

The staff, including the young waitress, were excellent and really helpful and friendly. The bar staff was very knowledgeable on different drinks, especially gins, and how best to serve them. Room service and housekeeping were fine as well.

It was a good workout, around a 20-minute walk to the Southwold Centre, which was just what I needed. Additionally, it's only a short walk into town and the seafront, making it convenient for exploring.

The hotel is ready for a revamp with some room improvements needed, but overall very clean and on the top floor with a great bathroom featuring a walk-in rain shower. The price did not match the experience. Service was outstanding, with very friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond, especially during bad weather. The location is good for exploring Southwold and nearby areas, but the hotel's appearance lacks character. The dining options were pleasant and freshly cooked. The facilities were decent.
